Terms of Service

By registering a society, creating an account, or otherwise accessing NG Home, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app.

NG Home is a record-keeping and communication tool for housing societies — maintenance billing, payment tracking, notices, helpdesk requests and shared records for admins, committee members and residents.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an NG Home account.
• You must provide accurate, current information when registering, and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• One account is intended for one individual — don’t share your login with others in your household or society.

NG Home is multi-tenant: each society operates as its own isolated space. A society is set up by a Society Admin, who is responsible for the accuracy of the society’s data (residents, flats, billing configuration) and for inviting or approving residents, committee members, accountants and staff into that society.

• Admins and committee members can see and manage financial and resident data within their own society.
• Residents can see their own bills, payments, and information the admin has chosen to share society-wide.
• NovaGade is not a party to, and does not mediate, internal disputes within a society’s committee or membership — those are governed by the society’s own bylaws.

You agree not to:

• Submit false payment records, falsify bills, or misrepresent financial information;
• Impersonate another resident, admin, or society;
• Post abusive, defamatory, or unlawful content in announcements, helpdesk requests, or notes;
• Attempt to access another society’s data, or bypass NG Home’s access controls;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app’s normal operation.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Data you or your society enter into NG Home — resident details, bills, payment records, announcements, documents — remains your society’s data. We process it only to operate the app, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it to build advertising profiles.

Any amount shown as “due” or “paid” in NG Home reflects records entered by residents and verified by admins — it is not a live bank balance, and NG Home does not guarantee the accuracy of a resident’s underlying bank transaction. Disputes about whether a payment was actually received should be resolved directly with your society’s admin or accountant, using their own bank statements as the source of truth.

We aim to keep NG Home available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access — the service may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, or events outside our control. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

• You can stop using NG Home, or request account/society deletion, at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page.
• We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, or if a society administrator removes your membership.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (like data retention obligations under law) will continue to apply.

NG Home is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovaGade disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including disputes over billing amounts, payment verification, or society governance decisions made by your admins or committee.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having competent authority over NovaGade’s place of business.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continuing to use NG Home after a change means you accept the updated terms.
